Key Storage Terms – At a Glance
For your convenience, here are the most important things to know about storage at Noble Maple Farm:
- Payment — Storage fees are due in full at the start of the contract. Month-to-month plans include a 10% surcharge.
- Vehicle Prep — Drip pans, battery disconnect/removal, proper coolant, and wheel chocks are required for safety.
- Insurance — You are responsible for insuring your own property. We are not liable for loss, damage, theft, pests, or vandalism.
- Winter Access — From December through March, access and removal may be restricted due to weather or snow load.
- Rodents/Wildlife — While our barn cats help keep pests at bay, we cannot guarantee a rodent-free environment. Preventive measures are strongly recommended.
- Operator Liability — We are not responsible for property loss or personal injury, except in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
- Non-Payment — Maine law gives storage operators a lien on stored property. Non-payment may result in lockout and eventual auction of items.
